This is the top 5 on my list maybe after the move I will have another 10 or more to add.
1. Don’t hire movers (There are very few good stories about a moving company…. your better off luring in your friends with beer and pizza)
2. Rental Trucks – Its cheep during the week and times when its totally inconvenient for you to move. Its very expensive at the end of the month, last weekend of the month and the 15th of the month. (Better off luring friends who have trucks with beer and pizza)
3. Start collecting boxes early – check out Craig’s list for people giving away free boxes, start collecting empty paper boxes at work. Go to the liquor store (tell them you’re a great customer who is buying a large amount of beer due to luring people for moving, they should help you out)
4. Organize before you pack – don’t just through everything you have in a box, it’s a lot easier on you if you get rid of everything you don’t need before you move (If you can’t do this your self (lure friends in who will do it for you – better yet ask people you don’t really like I am sure they will throw half your stuff away with out asking, or worst case scenario drink all the beer and you won’t remember what you threw away)
5. Find somewhere to live – before you lose possession of your current place. This is a common miss practice among many people (AGAIN I CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH FIND SOMEWHERE TO GO BEFORE YOU HAVE NO PLACE TO GO!!)

tammy, can i use those boxes when your done? oh shit i think i need them first right? noel, can i use some of the boxes first. then take my stuff to your new place. "for storage" then give the boxes to tammy? will that work..

Someone needs to calm the F**k down! Ok so don't think of this as the last thing you ever do. You are going to go to Australia for awhile and have fun and enjoy life. Maybe you guys will come back here and set up shop; maybe you will fall in love with Australia and never come back. Calm down its not the end of the world it’s only an adventure, you have to relax and enjoy it and when you finally do that you will realize that you will have a great time. (P.S. don't forget the chair is mine)
